Market Update

It’s still a seller’s market! As we get ready for the much-anticipated spring season, we’re projecting that this will continue to varying degrees based on price range. Lower price ranges are a more dominant seller’s market and it moves toward a more balanced market as the home prices increase.

The median home sales price is up from last year’s very strong market and the average number of days on market is down. Another indication that we’re in a very strong seller's market is that the inventory of houses for sale is at about 1.6 months, meaning it will take that long to sell off the current inventory of available properties.

What does this mean for you? Now is the time to sell! But it’s also a great time for buyers, as mortgage rates are still low. Buyers, you will just need to be prepared to make competitive offers to make sure your offer stands out to a seller. We can help you. Just get in touch!
